For many online television is a relatively new concept. For others they are old hands. Now in many respects many people access online TV. For example: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Amazon Fire depending on where you reside in the world. As a Roku Channel owner, we have our own channel set up on Roku, called Art of Online Marketing. Now this channel is still in it’s early days and still lots of work to do to ensure not only the content is great but it is presented in a visually appealing way for television. We’re not talking YouTube or any other video platform. We’re talking television.
So what does this have to do with Ethical Marketing. Absolutely everything. Regardless of the medium one undertakes to market one’s products and service, an ethical marketer will be upfront. An ethical marketer will aim to inform rather than do a snow job. An ethical marketer will ensure there are mechanisms for customers to contact and gain support. And, so the list goes one.
